Gov. Jack Dalrymple today joined West Fargo city officials, state officials and employees of Petro Serve USA to celebrate the grand opening of the fuel supply cooperative’s new corporate headquarters in West Fargo.
“Petro Serve USA’s new corporate office is a great addition to West Fargo,” Dalrymple said. “The company’s decision to establish its corporate headquarters in this vibrant city is a testament to our ongoing work in North Dakota to create jobs and provide for a business climate that is second to none. We’re proud to have Petro Serve USA in our business community and we’re thankful for the jobs and investment in our state.”
Dalrymple congratulated Petro Serve CEO Kent Satrang and other company employees on the completion of their new corporate headquarters and also recognized the customer-owned cooperative for being a leader in providing renewable fuels choices at its 24 regional convenient stores.
Since 2009, Dalrymple has worked with the Legislature to reduce property and income taxes by more than $4.2 billion, including a reduction of $618 million in individual and corporate income taxes.
Petro Serve USA invested $1.25 million to refurbish an existing building at 1772 West Main Ave. for its new company headquarters, which will support 44 company employees.  Petro Serve USA is a cooperative with about 2,200 member owners and 360 employees. In addition to its convenience stores and fuel pumps, the cooperative also supplies home heating, commercial and agricultural fuel and lubricating oil.
Those joining Dalrymple for the grand opening included Satrang, Petro Serve USA COO Clark Erickson, Petro Serve USA President Time Sunde, West Fargo Mayor Rich Mattern and North Dakota Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger.
