What size are the tables?
8 foot tables in an 8x10 space.
Is electricity available?

Yes, but you must indicate that at the time of registration. Exhibitors are responsible for bringing their own extension cords. We will be using the electricity information you provided during registration to create the map of booths.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. The password will be provided the day of the show.
What is provided to each exhibitor?

Exhibitors will receive a table, two chairs, Wi-Fi password, and area for booth that is piped-and-draped off. The pipe and drape provided will be black.
Will table cloths or extension cords be provided at each booth?

No. Exhibitors are responsible to supply their own. The Event Center will sell extension cords if need be. Target and Staples are also near for your ease.
Are Exhibitors required to give away prizes or gifts?

No. Exhibitors are not required to supply giveaways. However, if you have a prize drawing, please contact the SHRM Concierge Table when you arrive. Winners can be announced at 4:45 during the social or written on a white board alerting attendees.
Additionally, ND SHRM Foundation Director will be reaching out for donations for the silent auction fundraiser.  We appreciate anything you can donate to the SHRM Foundation.

Is there an extra charge if two people are at the booth representing the same company?

No. Each booth will get two booth representatives. Please be aware that the names provided to represent the booth will only be allowed to attend the day of the exhibitor show. If these booth representatives would like to attend more of the conference, they can register at a discounted rate of $200 to attend the entire three-day event. This code will be provided to you in July after attendee registration opens.
What if I want more than 2 people to be able to work the booth?

After receiving feedback from the 2017 Conference, we have added the ability to add a Booth Attendee Upgrade Pass. For a flat $50, you can have additional people assist with working a booth. Lunch will not be provided to these individuals but can be purchased in advance. We would appreciate you registering these individuals in advance so their nametags are included in your registration packets.
What times are specifically available for conference attendees to visit exhibitors?

The specific times marked for attendees to visit with exhibitors and sponsors are from 9-10:15, 11:30-1, 2:15-3:15, and 4:30-5:15. In between those times, concurrent breakout sessions with speakers will be occurring for attendees. The Exhibitor Show will remain open but we anticipate that traffic to be lighter in comparison to the previously listed times.
What is the Exhibitor Meeting? Is it mandatory?

This meeting is between the show/conference organizers and the exhibitors. Organizers give updates on the processes that are impacting the exhibitors - including the agenda and expectations, and collect feedback from exhibitors on the event to ensure it's still of value to those exhibiting. It's not mandatory but we expect at least 1 rep from each booth to attend. It is held during a breakout session when the show traffic is light.
Will lunch be provided to exhibitors?

Yes. Two lunches will be provided to exhibitors at their booths at a convenient time to not interrupt the show. If your booth only has 1 exhibitor registered, you will receive 1. Booths taking advantage of the Booth Attendee Upgrade Pass will only be served 2 lunches, unless additional lunches have been purchased.
What time can exhibitors pack up their booth?

We will release exhibitors at 5:15, following the close of the social. We appreciate waiting until then to not disturb the social and to allow final interactions with attendees.
How do I register for the conference as an attendee?

After registering as an exhibitor, when the attendee registration is open, the main booth contact will receive a discount code and registration link. This code will allow for booth representatives to attend all three days for the cost of $200. Sponsors will receive complimentary attendee registrations with their packets.

A Bronze sponsor ($1500) receives one free registration. A Silver sponsor ($3000) receives three free registrations. A Gold sponsor ($5000) receives five free registrations.

How many participants do you anticipate at the conference?

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes. The blocks will be released approximately 8/20.  Please see our accommodations page for addresses, rates, and block names.
Will an attendee list be provided to Exhibitors?
Yes, this will be emailed to the primary contact that registered for the booth.
How many Exhibitors do you anticipate at the conference?

Each year is different, depending on location. Our average number of exhibitors is 45.

I want to ship my booth materials in advance. Where do I send it?

Do not ship to the Event Center. Please follow the instructions in this provided link, http://www.jobberswarehouse.com/cfs. You'll select "ND Governor's Workforce and HR Conference" as the event.
How does my company become more visible at the conference?

If you’d like more visibility than the other exhibitors, we recommend sponsoring an item at the Gold, Silver, or Bronze level. For more information on this, check out the sponsor page.

Other ways include taking advantage of the Exhibitor stage or the push notifications that are available for purchase.

What is the Exhibitor Stage?

New this year: We are setting up a vendor exclusive stage during the Exhibitor Show with a limited amount of 20-minute slots. For $150 your company will get one 20 minute stage slot, additional exposure in the conference app and daily printed agendas, and direct access to individual attendees who want to learn specific information on your company/product. While we cannot guarantee a specific number of attendees, those who attend your presentation should be high quality leads.
Can I buy push notifications in the app?

Yes - this year, we are allowing three exhibitors the ability to purchase a push notification for $500. This notification can be tailored with your messaging within the character limit of 1080. This brief message can go out at a designated time and when clicked upon, will go to your specific exhibitor page for additional information.
What if I have an issue the day of the Exhibitor Show?

If you are onsite, please contact the registration table. They will get you to the show contact that will be able to assist you.

If you are not able to get onsite, please call the ND Dept. of Commerce, 701.328.5300, they will forward your call to the appropriate contacts.
