Recruiter Network

Find the Good Life in ND logoThe Recruiter Network is part of Economic Development Foundation’s Find the Good Life in North Dakota Initiative (FTGL). The goal is to target out-of-state job seekers in attempt to invite them to North Dakota to fill needed positions available within every sector of business while improving the nation’s image of North Dakota.

The current Network is made of HR professionals/Recruiters who have joined because they are interested in collaboration to fill open positions within their company and the many other industries across ND that have "help wanted" signs.

Specific benefits include:

  • Networking with other HR professionals/recruiters.

  • Best practice sharing among major industries in ND.

  • Resources and information provided to help in recruiting.

  • Serve as a sounding board among professionals to help recruiting efforts.

  • Regular meetings and 1 annual event at the Governor's Workforce and HR Summit.

Goals of the Recruiter Network

Through partnership and education, we have created a Recruiter Network, which would allow collaboration among businesses and recruiters to serve as a resource network. The Recruiter Network identified three major goals:

  1. Share best practices
  2. Help attract people to North Dakota
  3. Sounding board for retention/hiring issues

Membership Details of the Recruiter Network

Membership is per business not per individual, we encourage companies to have two reps that can use the resources and attend meetings. The membership cost, $500, is part of the Find the Good Life Initiative. Industries that are represented include manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, energy, technology, state/government, retail, and human services. Meetings are delivered in two ways – conference call or can be hosted by members. Hosts present a best practices piece during their meeting. Despite the delivery, the agenda will include round table discussions on current issues or related subjects, best practices, and sharing piece/education aspect such as company information sharing, or retention plans. Members will have immediate information and input on these programs as well as access to other community engagement pieces that are currently in the works.

Please fill out this interest survey if you are interested in attending a Recruiter Network Meeting as a guest with no financial commitment or would like more information.
